Dispatcher Full-time Pay:

Hours:

8 Hour shift Monday through Friday The Lowcountry Regional Transit Authority proudly serves Beaufort, Jasper, Colleton, Hampton and Allendale counties. We operate 11daily commuter routes, 2 weekday fixed routes in Bluffton and Walterboro and one seasonal Hilton Head Island Trolley.

Responsible for:

Dispatching of vehicle operators and equipment Coordinating with the public for same day transportation services Communicating with vehicle operators regarding directions, emergencies, vehicle incidents Public relations- ensuring safe, reliable, on time professional transit services are provided to the customer. Monitoring traffic reports and conditions Answering the telephone and providing route information. Documents no-shows, delays in service and driver no-shows Qualifications Must possess and maintain a valid Class B Commercial driver's license with passenger endorsement Clean driving record Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check Excellent computer skills including Microsoft word and Excel One to three years experience in transportation, dispatching or scheduling preferred Ability to work under pressure Must possess a high school diploma or GED recblid v3walhyfnj7o1wwbi0f0dokpoip9kr PDN-a1c404a4-5dd5-4508-92e7-1f5c44a22f99
