Duties Perform professional grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and nail clipping tailored to each dog's breed and individual needs Handle dogs safely and confidently, utilizing proper animal restraint techniques to ensure comfort and security during grooming Assess each pet's coat condition, skin health, and overall demeanor to determine appropriate grooming procedures Maintain cleanliness of grooming stations and tools to ensure a hygienic environment for pets Communicate effectively with pet owners to discuss grooming preferences, special needs, or health concerns Assist with pet care tasks such as feeding, walking, or administering medication when needed Support team members with kennel cleaning, animal handling, and other animal care duties as required Requirements Proven experience in pet grooming with a strong understanding of breed-specific cuts and styles Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary experience is highly desirable Skilled in animal handling and restraint to ensure safety for pets and staff alike Familiarity with veterinary technician or assistant experience, as well as kennel experience, is a plus Ability to lift heavy objects (heavy lifting) such as large dogs or equipment safely and comfortably Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with pet owners Passion for animal care with a genuine love for working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments Join us to turn your love for animals into a rewarding career where every day brings new opportunities to make pets look fabulous and feel loved!

Pay:

$60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
