Dog Socialization Teacher

Love Dogs Camp is a cage free camp designed for dogs' optimal health & well-being, where every dog is treated with appreciation, kindness, patience, understanding and respect. We are seeking a dog socialization teacher who is aligned with our holistic dog training philosophy: 1. Understands that dog socialization teacher is not about "obedience" and "submission", but, instead, is aligned with our philosphy of teaching based upon a foundation of patience, mutual trust, respect and understanding. 2. Understands that each dog is different, may have experienced emotional (or physical) trauma, and requires a customized, approach to addressing that dog's issues. 3. Understands the value of taking the time to observe, listen to and respect each dog's cues about what he/she needs before becoming that dog's teacher.

Requirements:

1. 2 years or more experience working with dogs. 2. Excels and enjoys working collaboratively with colleagues and clients. 3. Commitment to honesty and integrity in working with clients and colleagues. 4. 100% commitment to utilizing only psychologically and physically positive interactions with dogs. 5. Flexible Schedule - available to work Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. 6. Good references, punctual, strong work ethic, reliable transportation.
