Responsibilities Lead engaging and safe dog walks, ensuring proper handling and adherence to individual pet needs Provide attentive pet sitting services, including feeding, administering medication if needed, and maintaining routines Monitor pet behavior during walks and sitting sessions, using animal handling skills to ensure safety and comfort Perform animal restraint when necessary to prevent injury or manage behavioral issues Maintain detailed records of pet care activities, including feeding schedules, health observations, and behavior notes Communicate effectively with pet owners about their pets' well-being and any concerns that arise during care Assist with pet grooming tasks such as brushing or bathing when required to support overall pet health Requirements Prior experience in pet sitting, dog training, or animal handling is highly desirable Knowledge of veterinary procedures or veterinary technician/assistant experience is a plus Ability to handle dogs confidently and safely, including heavy lifting when necessary for larger breeds or equipment Familiarity with animal restraint techniques and pet care best practices Strong customer service skills to build trust with pet owners and provide exceptional care Experience with kennel management or veterinary clinics is advantageous Physical stamina to walk multiple dogs daily and perform active duties in various weather conditions This role is perfect for energetic individuals who thrive on caring for animals and enjoy staying active.
