Job Description
Responsibilities This position is responsible for delivering an exceptional experience for donors and visitors presenting at a donor center, every time. The position is an integral part of the team and the donor experience. As the Donor Experience Representative, you will provide a positive and engaging experience, every time. You will make donors feel welcomed and valued; you will build rapport and relationships with donors that will encourage them to return frequently. The candidate will take ownership of key performance indicators (KPIs) and work with team members to achieve these goals.
The position will support strategic marketing planning aimed at recruiting and retaining a blood and platelet donor base for each center to ensure collection goals are achieved to meet hospital demand and patient need. This is a unique role which requires a "hands on" community-minded approach. Provide exceptional service to donors (and visitors). Support the KPI to achieve a score of 9 out of 10 donor satisfaction survey results. Greet and welcome donors who have appointments or might walk in to donate and manage donor flow accordingly. Greet and welcome groups (organizations, businesses, etc) that present to donate as part of the group donation program. Assist donors with registration process (using CRM software). Ensure donor refreshment area is clean and stocked with food/drinks for donors. Ensure marketing collateral and education material is up to date and on display, as per marketing department requirements. Answer questions about donation types, procedures, and products. Educate donors on the need for frequent blood donations and increase their frequency by building rapport and lasting relationships (KPI). Education donors about the need for platelets and convert suitable blood donors to become platelet donors (KPI).

Qualifications Education:
High school diploma.Experience:
2+ years of related experience in a customer services /sales roles.Desirable but not essential:
Spanish speaking.Knowledge:
Knowledge of a variety of software applications (Microsoft Office Suite). Knowledge of CRM systems desirable. For applicants who will perform this position in New York City or Westchester County, the proposed hourly salary is $25.00/hr. For applicants who will perform this position outside of New York City or Westchester County, salary will reflect local market rates and be commensurate with the applicant's skills, job-related knowledge, and experience.
