Unit Clerk

Position Summary The Osborn is seeking a dependable, detail‑oriented Unit Clerk to support our Skilled Nursing team. This full‑time position plays a vital role in daily unit operations by providing administrative support, coordinating services, and maintaining strong, compassionate interactions with residents, families, and interdisciplinary staff. Key Responsibilities Serve as a welcoming point of contact for residents, families, and visitors on the skilled nursing unit Greet new admissions and assist with discharges, including accompanying residents to the curb when appropriate Ensure resident rooms and beds are ready for admission and confirm deep cleaning following discharges through physical room readiness verification Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date resident records, charts, and reports Answer and route phone calls; relay messages promptly and professionally Support scheduling and coordination of resident appointments and services Act as a liaison between residents and the kitchen, expediting communication and assisting with the resolution of food‑related concerns Provide clerical and administrative support to nursing staff Uphold confidentiality standards and ensure compliance with healthcare and safety regulations Qualifications Prior clerical or healthcare experience preferred Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office; EMR experience a plus) Ability to multitask effectively in a fast‑paced healthcare environment Friendly, professional, and team‑oriented demeanor Comfortable with frequent and direct interaction with residents Why Work at The Osborn?
