Driver Class A - Equipment Hauling

Job Description Central Valley Transport is seeking an experienced Class A Driver based in Bakersfield, CA. This position primarily involves hauling heavy equipment using RGN (Removable Gooseneck) trailers and Hydraulic Tail trailers throughout California and surrounding areas. Safety, professionalism, and equipment care are our top priorities. Responsibilities Safely transport heavy equipment using RGN and hydraulic tail trailers Perform proper load securement in compliance with DOT and company standards Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections Maintain accurate e-logs, permits, and required documentation Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers Follow all federal, state, and local safety regulations Represent Central Valley Transport in a professional manner at all times Requirements Valid Class A CDL Minimum 3 years of Class A driving experience Heavy haul experience required (RGN and/or hydraulic tail experience strongly preferred) Clean driving record Strong understanding of load securement and safety procedures Ability to work independently and make safety-first decisions Must be reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Safety Commitment At Central Valley Transport, safety comes first—always .
