People's Linen Supply is looking to add a motivated and hardworking candidate to our delivery team.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivery Operations:

Operate company vehicles to deliver linen products to various commercial clients according to a predetermined route and schedule.

Customer Service:

Interact professionally with clients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have while ensuring a positive experience.

Product Handling:

Load, unload, and handle linen products with care to prevent damage and ensure product quality.

Route Management:

Follow delivery schedules and routes efficiently, making adjustments as necessary to accommodate traffic, weather conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Vehicle Maintenance:

Perform routine checks and maintenance on delivery vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition. Report any vehicle issues or damages promptly.

Documentation:

Accurately complete delivery paperwork, including delivery logs, invoices, and any required reports. Ensure all paperwork is submitted in a timely manner.

Safety Compliance:

Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while driving and handling products.

Qualifications:

Valid Driver's License:

A clean driving record with a DOT med card

Experience:

Previous experience in route delivery or a similar role is preferred but not required.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to lift and carry heavy linen products and perform physically demanding tasks.

Communication Skills:

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members. Attention to

Accuracy in handling products, completing paperwork, and following routes and instructions.

Working Conditions:

Schedule:

Full-time position with potential for occasional overtime. Early morning starts and occasional weekend work may be required. Most drivers work 4 days a week.

Environment:

Work is performed both in and out of the delivery vehicle, which may involve varying weather conditions.
