Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-NICU Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding assignment dedicated to the care of neonates in a high-acuity setting. This role focuses on providing expert nursing care to newborns in a state-of-the-art neonatal intensive care environment. Candidates with strong clinical skills and a passion for neonatal care are encouraged to contribute to a collaborative, multidisciplinary team renowned for excellence in patient outcomes.
Schedule/Hours:
Contract position (duration to be specified during interview) Shifts and scheduling details will be reviewed during the hiring process; flexibility may be requested to meet patient needs
Qualifications and Experience:
Current and unencumbered RN license Clinical experience in NICU settings required BLS and NRP certifications (or willingness to obtain prior to start) Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, respiratory therapists, and ancillary staff Experience with electronic medical records and neonatal monitoring equipment Compassionate, patient-centered approach to family care
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill neonates Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed Maintain meticulous documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient progress Support and educate families, fostering a trusting and reassuring environment Uphold safety initiatives and adhere to infection control protocols Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and ongoing professional development
