N/A ## Job Summary Our client seeks a Vascular Access Registered Nurse to perform transthoracic echocardiograms and stress echo exams, as well as a full range of vascular ultrasound studies while adhering to established protocols. The role involves ensuring optimal imaging, maintaining ultrasound equipment, and assisting with accreditation processes. ## Responsibilities Performs transthoracic echocardiograms and stress echo exams while following established protocols. Conducts a full range of vascular ultrasound studies including carotid, venous, arterial, ABI, and other vascular exams. Communicates effectively with patients, physicians, and clinical staff to ensure exceptional patient experience. Obtains thorough patient histories and presents key findings to the interpreting physician. Assists with ACR and IAC accreditation processes. Conducts work in sterile environments based on established protocols. Maintains and operates ultrasound equipment, ensuring routine maintenance. ## Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements### Education Successful completion of an accredited ultrasound program. 2 years of ultrasound experience. ## Qualifications Active RVT (ARDMS) or RVS (CCI) Certification. Active RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI); RVT/RVS a plus. Active Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. Proficiency in cerebrovascular, venous insufficiency, and arterial imaging. Valid Driver's License. ## Experience 2 years of ultrasound experience with demonstrated proficiency in cerebrovascular, venous insufficiency, and arterial imaging. ## Skills Technical skills in vascular ultrasound. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to push/pull heavy medical equipment. ## Schedule / Shift Mon-Fri 8-5 ## Benefits Paid Sick Leave (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinances).
