ED Patient Access Tech ( 3pm-11:30pm ) TEKsystems $20.00 / hr life insurance, sick time, 401(k), retirement plan United States, Virginia, Norfolk May 13, 2026 We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Patient Access Representative to support the Emergency Department. This role plays a key part in ensuring a smooth and positive experience for patients and families during their visit.

• Key Responsibilities
• Warmly greet and assist patients and families upon arrival
• Update patient demographics accurately and confidentially
• Verify insurance eligibility and coverage
• Collect co-pays and process payments
• Obtain required consents (in-person, phone, judicial, etc.)
• Scan and upload documents into the electronic medical record
• Provide support to departments throughout the facility
• Document all interactions with accuracy and professionalism
• Facilitate patient admissions across hospital and pavilion locations
• Perform additional duties as assigned Emergency Department (ED) Monday
• Friday and every other weekend ( 40 hour work weeks!) 3:00 PM
• 11:30 PM
• Every other weekend required

• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $20.00
