Job Description:
Part-time, year-round position to perform various test administration duties, at the Highlands campus, as directed by the Testing/Assessment Director.
Work schedule:
Thursday 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. (rest of schedule flexible).
Duties and Responsibilities:
Exhibits good communication skills and a friendly, courteous attitude with all College staff as a participating member of the Student Services team. Works directly with students and adults to administer a broad range of standardized and instructor exams to individuals and groups. Requires accurate usage of timing devices. Maintains rosters of persons tested and informs the Director of any testing irregularities. Maintains confidentiality and security of test scores and materials. Distributes scores and test results, while maintaining confidentiality. Contributes to unit planning, assessment, and college institutional effectiveness efforts. Acts in accordance with Testing/Assessment Center policies and procedures including but not limited to: complying with instructor exam policies; checking appropriate candidate identification prior to discussing score reports and/or issuing any score reports to a candidate; active monitoring of all test sessions. Acts in accordance with local, state, and federal laws/regulations as well as College policies and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Educational:
One to two years of college preferred.
Experiential:
Experience working with the public required. Test administration experience preferred. Computerized testing experience preferred.
Other:
Some afternoon/evening hours are required as part of the work schedule.
