Adult English Language Instructor (Part-Time) - Cumming-GA

Job Description

About the Role We are seeking a part-time English instructor to teach adults in Alpharetta, GA. The goal is to help parents improve their English so they can support their children's education and be more active in the community. Curriculum is provided.
Schedule:
Tuesdays 6:30-8:00 PM (October to May, following Forsyth County School's Calendar) Responsibilities Teach adult learners with limited English proficiency Build skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing Plan dynamic lessons and activities using provided curriculum Assess student progress and keep attendance records Support student retention through engaging teaching Ability to use technology/computers as a tool for teaching and learning. Qualifications Solid and Demonstrated Experience teaching English as second language to adults. Experience teaching lower levels. Knowledge of second language acquisition strategies Reliable, organized, able to work independently Strong commitment to serving immigrant/minority families
Preferred:
