Adult English Language Instructor (Part-Time) - Cumming-GA
Job Description
Schedule:
Tuesdays 6:30-8:00 PM (October to May, following Forsyth County School's Calendar) Responsibilities Teach adult learners with limited English proficiency Build skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing Plan dynamic lessons and activities using provided curriculum Assess student progress and keep attendance records Support student retention through engaging teaching Ability to use technology/computers as a tool for teaching and learning. Qualifications Solid and Demonstrated Experience teaching English as second language to adults. Experience teaching lower levels. Knowledge of second language acquisition strategies Reliable, organized, able to work independently Strong commitment to serving immigrant/minority familiesPreferred:
