Serving Maine's Midcoast communities of Bowdoin, Bowdoinham, Harpswell, and Topsham, MSAD 75 is home to over 2,350 students and more than 600 faculty and staff members.

Merrymeeting Adult & Community Education is seeking a Driver's Education Driving Instructor to join our vibrant educational community.

PAY RATE

$30.00/hour

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Provides on road driving instruction for students Schedules drives with students/parents

Maintains driving calendar

Communicates with office regarding necessary maintenance and repairs

Attends driver's education meetings and professional development

Reports unusual or concerning issues regarding student driving or behavior with the office

Stays up to date on the renewal of their instructor's license

Maintains and submits paperwork in a timely manner

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or GED/HiSET (B.A./B.S. preferred)
• Valid Class C Maine Driver's License
• Clean Driving Record Valid State of Maine Department of Education background check (CHRC) authorization. Maine Bureau of Motor Vehicles Driver/Rider Education Program How to apply for or renew a CHRC/Certification
