Helps students to learn English or gain a high school diploma or equivalent certificate. Assignment:
Community Education is seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable fitness instructors to lead classes for adult participants of varying ages, abilities, and fitness levels. We are looking for individuals with expertise in a wide range of fitness formats who are passionate about helping community members improve their health, wellness, and quality of life. Instructors have the opportunity to propose new classes and teach in areas such as group fitness, strength training, yoga, Pilates, barre, dance fitness, cardio conditioning, active aging, mindfulness-based movement, and other wellness-focused programs. Class schedule is flexible based on program needs.

Responsibilities:
Plan and lead safe, engaging, and inclusive fitness classes for adult participants. Create class outlines, routines, and instructional materials appropriate for participant skill levels. Demonstrate proper techniques and provide modifications to accommodate various abilities and fitness levels. Foster a positive, welcoming, and supportive learning environment. Monitor participant safety and respond appropriately to emergencies. Communicate effectively with participants and Community Education staff. Maintain professionalism, reliability, and confidentiality. Ensure equipment and instructional spaces are used safely and responsibly.
Job Requirements:
Experience teaching group fitness, wellness, or movement-based programs. Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate adult learners. Knowledge of safe exercise practices and injury prevention. Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and adapt instruction for varying participant needs.
