This individual would be responsible for leading group CrossFit classes as well as motivating members toward their fitness goals. 9:00am and 12:00pm class times available.
Responsibilities:
Lead safe, enjoyable, and positive CrossFit classes 4-6 times per week AM, midday, or afternoon/evening availability Ensure safety of movements and members Modify and scale weights and workouts throughout the class, as needed Sell and process membership packages and retail sales Track attendance on board and in Zen Planner Greet members by name with enthusiasm Motivate members using Bright Spots scripts Ensure scores are written and logged for members Operate appropriate equipment for CrossFit classes (stereo, computer, etc). Announce and encourage events in class and where signup sheets are located Recommend or up sell other services based on client need Assist in maintaining cleanliness of the floor, equipment, and gym Run other training sessions including, but not limited to, personal training, OnRamp sessions, and skills sessions Create and run at least one specialty course per year Seek out and participate in continuing education Other duties, as assigned including staff meetings and staff workouts
Qualifications:
CrossFit Level 1 Certification required High School Diploma or GED required Bachelors Degree or Associates Degree in related field preferred 1-2 years of prior customer service or sales experience required Ability to motivate others and implement new ideas Must be available to instruct 4-6 CrossFit classes per week Ability to be at appointments/classes at least 15 minutes prior to start time Excellent verbal and written communication skills High attention to detail Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) Ability to handle multiple tasks at once Ability to build rapport and relationships quickly Responsible, organized, and self-motivated
