Northeast Kingdom Learning Services, Inc. (NEKLS) is seeking to hire a full-time Vermont Adult Diploma Program (ADP) Manager to join our Adult Education and Literacy team at our Newport Learning Center. The ideal candidate for this full-time, benefitted position possesses demonstrated success teaching core subject areas, designing and managing personalized learning plans, building meaningful connections with diverse learners, utilizing technology including Microsoft Office, Google, and data entry systems, as well as a familiarity with and respect for Northeast Kingdom culture. Minimum requirements for this position include a Bachelor's degree in an applicable field, or an Associate's degree with three year's experience working with young adults; proficiency in multiple areas of education; experience in adult, secondary, alternative, or special education, particularly in non-traditional settings; and completion of coursework, training, or work experience involving computer-based instruction, distance learning, and virtual instruction.
