AGRICULTURE

TEACHER & FFA ADVISOR

Clinton Prairie Jr.-Sr. High School is seeking an enthusiastic, student-centered Agriculture Teacher & FFA Advisor to join our team.

We are looking for an educator who is passionate about agriculture, committed to developing strong relationships with students, and excited to provide meaningful opportunities for students through agricultural education and FFA.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Teach engaging, hands-on agricultural education courses

Develop learning experiences connected to agriculture, leadership, career readiness, and real-world applications

Serve as the Clinton Prairie FFA Advisor

Develop and support a thriving FFA chapter and student leadership opportunities

Coordinate FFA activities, competitions, events, and community involvement

Encourage students to participate in FFA Career Development Events, Leadership Development Events, SAE projects, and other FFA opportunities

Support students in developing and maintaining Supervised Agricultural Experiences (SAEs)

Build partnerships with local farmers, agricultural businesses, community organizations, and industry professionals

Promote agricultural education throughout the Clinton Prairie community

Collaborate with staff and administration to support student success

QUALIFICATIONS

Appropriate Indiana teaching license or eligibility for licensure in Agricultural Education

FFA experience preferred

Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

Commitment to the academic and personal growth of all students
