World Civilization to 1500.Course Description:
Surveys the history of the world from the early river-valley civilizations to the year 1500. Emphasis upon Afro-Eurasia and the Americas. Subject matter includes politics, society, religion, and global interactions.Minimum qualifications:
A master's degree in the area of instruction or a closely related field. Per the California State University's Out-of-State Employment Policy, the CSU is prohibited from hiring employees to perform CSU-related work outside California. Working in the State of California is a condition of employment Preferred qualifications: A terminal degree in the area of instruction or a closely related field. Experience in teaching higher education courses Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate intercultural competence and a commitment to serving our campus community as it relates to teaching and, as applicable, service. Salary commensurate with degree level and experienceAnticipated Hiring Salary Range:
$5,507- $8,000 per full-time month The salary schedule information for the Lecturer
