Sep 11, 2028 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate or Full Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. This role will also serve as Chief of the Division of Complex Benign Gynecology. Expertise is required in the specific area of complex benign gynecologic surgery. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Candidates must be board certified and trained in Obstetrics and Gynecology and have formal fellowship training in MIGS (Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery). Rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Teaching responsibilities may include training and supervision of Ob/Gyn residents and medical students with plans to start a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery. Interest in educational leadership is highly desirable. Faculty appointment is available at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Clinical responsibilities may include gynecologic care and complex benign gynecology and surgery. Our growing practice provides multidisciplinary care of patients with complex conditions such as:

• Fibroids and abnormal uterine bleeding,
• Chronic pelvic pain and endometriosis and
• Abnormal placentation and complex ectopic pregnancies.

The MIGS surgeons at Penn Medicine provide expertise in multiple surgical modalities such as laparoscopy, robotics, and operative hysteroscopy. The new Chief of the Division of Complex Benign Gynecology will join a cadre of surgeons at Penn Medicine who are nationally known for their surgical expertise, research, education and innovation. This position is a unique opportunity to start a new division with devoted faculty, working closely with colleagues within the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology who are at the forefront of the field. Preference will be given to candidates with leadership/development in Complex Benign Gynecology.
