Job Description

In-Person Contract Assignment | Trial Beginning Mid-October 2026 Abrolat Law PC, a plaintiff-side litigation firm, is seeking an experienced Trial Presentation Specialist / Trial Technician ("Hot Seat" Operator) for an upcoming jury trial in Los Angeles beginning in mid-October 2026. We are looking for someone with substantial live courtroom experience who can manage the electronic presentation of evidence throughout trial and work closely with trial counsel in a fast-moving courtroom environment. Responsibilities Serve as the primary hot-seat operator throughout trial Display and retrieve exhibits immediately during witness examinations Present documents, photographs, demonstratives, graphics, and other evidence to the court and jury Create and display document callouts, highlighting, zooms, and other on-screen annotations Prepare and play deposition video clips and impeachment materials Organize and maintain the electronic trial exhibit database Assist with PowerPoint presentations and other courtroom demonstratives Set up, operate, test, and troubleshoot courtroom presentation equipment Coordinate laptops, monitors, projectors, displays, audio, video, and related courtroom technology Assist with pretrial preparation, exhibit organization, and testing of trial presentations Respond quickly and accurately to changes in witness examinations and presentation needs during trial Qualifications Prior experience serving as a Trial Presentation Specialist, Trial Technician, or "Hot Seat" Operator in actual trials Strong proficiency with TrialDirector and/or OnCue , with substantial TrialDirector experience preferred Experience presenting electronic exhibits and deposition video during live witness examinations Experience creating document callouts and managing exhibits in real time Strong knowledge of courtroom audiovisual equipment and troubleshooting Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure Excellent organization and attention to detail Professional, dependable, responsive, and able to work closely with trial counsel Prior experience supporting California jury trials strongly preferred This is an in-person contract assignment in Los Angeles . Availability will be required for pretrial preparation shortly before trial and throughout the jury trial beginning in approximately mid-October 2026.

From $50,000.00 per year
