- Friday, between 8 AM
- 5 PM. The final work schedule will be determined by the supervisor. Additional Work Schedule Student Assistant and Graduate Assistant employees generally work up to 24 hours per workweek (Sunday
- Saturday) during the academic year and up to 40 hours per workweek during breaks; (winter, spring, and summer). Compensation $18.27

Microsoft Office Suite:
Word, Excel, and Outlook. Must be able to follow directions. Must be capable of communicating with various levels of staff and the public. Must be able to work independently and in a team. Must have strong attention to detail. Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and possess a good attendance record. Must have strong organizational and filing skills. Must be able to work at least 16 hours per week. Preferred Qualifications Individuals who are, or have been, a dependent child in foster care, a homeless youth or a formerly incarcerated youth as defined by Government Code section 18220 are encouraged to apply and will be given priority. Duties and Responsibilities Researching and gathering information for Public Records Act request. Processing incoming mail (open, sort, batch, and stamp documents). Organizing and filing documents. Performing quality control. Reviewing and validating documents. Scanning and uploading images to public website. Tracking and maintaining information in databases. Public telephone inquiries. Physical Requirements Sit for extended periods; frequently stand and walk; manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination; corrected hearing and vision to normal range; verbal communication; use of office equipment including computer workstations, telephones, calculators, copiers, printers, and scanners with or without reasonable accommodation. Working Conditions Work is performed in an office environment. The positions are 100% onsite. The office of the S ecretary of State- Sacramento Main Office is located at the 1500 11 th Street Sacramento, CA 95814.
