Job Description

DescriptionMemories Renewed is located in Fridley, MN and specializes in preserving photo and video memories so they can be enjoyed in today's digital age. We convert a wide variety of formats including photos, slides, negatives, videotapes, audio cassettes, and 8mm/16mm film. Flexible output and viewing options are available to meet the needs of our clients. The digital archivist preps and scans a variety of analog materials (photos, slides, negatives, videotapes, and film) to generate high quality digital images. We are looking for someone that is outgoing and an adept learner with a great work ethic to join our team and grow with our company. You should have excellent communication and customer skills, be genuinely interested in the work we do to digitally preserve the past and be committed to working on a full-time basis.

In person Overview Organize project materials to be digitized including photos, memorabilia, photo albums, slides, negatives, videotapes, and film reels Physically clean and digitize film, negatives, photos and slides Operate multiple scanning hardware and software solutions to fulfill client specific digitization requirements Follow specific procedures for processing, digitization, editing and preservation of project materials Qualifications Strong desktop computer skills: Windows, Adobe Creative Suite, File Management Extremely organized, must possess acute attention to detail Punctual and dependable General knowledge and interest in photography, video, and audio Familiarity with photo, film and video editing software a plus: Photoshop CineCrop, Adobe Premier Pro Excellent verbal and written communication skills Dedicated and devoted to completing an assigned project on time Patience and the ability to work on a single project for hours at a time Maintain a positive attitude and be self-motivated Possess a sense of cleanliness at all times Willing to take initiative and collaborate with others to improve processes Be team-oriented but able to work independently and willing to ask for help Ability to lift and shift boxes weighing up to 50 pounds Live in the Twin Cities metro area with access to reliable transportation
