SUMMARY Under the direction of the Quality Supervisor, the Document Administrator is responsible for the scanning, organizing, and retainment of business documents and records.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Perform documentation pickup at prescribed locations across the facility daily for scanning and retention Scan in documentation packets by documents type for organizing and storage Name electronic records following a specific format and structure for naming consistency Place electronic records on the company network and within a Product Data Management system Adhere to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing process enhancements. Upon request, pull and distribute electronic records

QUALIFICATIONS

EXPERIENCE A

high school diploma or equivalent, e.g., vocational training. 1+ years of experience in documentation control process in an engineering environment preferred. Background in aerospace, defense, or cable assembly industries favored.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Conversational in any other language is a plus.

JOB SKILLS

Intermediate-advanced in MS Office Suite and Point, e.g., Windows OS, Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, Adobe Acrobat) and experience with Microsoft Access Software preferred. Basic - intermediate knowledge of ERP systems, SAP preferred. Ability to communicate and interface well with a wide range of people. Good oral and written communication skills. Good organizational and time management skills. Able to multi-task and prioritize work effectively to achieve deadlines. Able to be detail-oriented, review a high volume of data, and analyze, interpret, and identify issues.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

As part of their job duties, the employee must sit for lengthy periods while operating a computer. They frequently use their hands to type, handle objects, and communicate verbally. Additionally, they may need to stand, walk, reach, and occasionally lift objects weighing up to twenty (20) pounds. This role requires lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching overhead, reaching at or below shoulder level, and keyboarding. According to ADA regulations, reasonable accommodation will be provided to ensure that individuals with disabilities can perform the job's essential functions.
