Part-time Job Description Summary The budgeted salary for this position is typically $1,000 per credit hour . This position is ineligible for health, dental, and life insurance benefits through Chicago State University. Teaching interdisciplinary course in the visual and performing arts related to gender and women's studies or hip hop culture. Office hours of at least two per week. Required Education MA, MFA, or above required. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities- Ability to work with a diverse population of students
- Ability to work collaboratively with the faculty members in all Art and Design disciplines
- Ability to work with online programs such as Moodle
- Ability to incorporate an appropriate performance component into the lecture course
- Evidence of research in the field Preferred Qualifications
- Teaching experience at a college level
- Exhibition record or professional practice in the field
