Job Description
Overview We are seeking a passionate and innovative Digital Art Teacher to inspire the next generation of digital creators. In this role, you will guide students in mastering cutting-edge digital tools, software, and techniques to bring their artistic visions to life. You will foster a creative and inclusive learning environment that encourages experimentation, collaboration, and individual expression—while equipping students with practical skills for today's digital art industry. Responsibilities Design and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards to develop students' digital art skills Teach a range of digital art disciplines, including digital illustration, graphic design, 3D modeling, animation, video editing, and UI/UX design Provide hands-on instruction using industry-standard software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Procreate, Blender, Figma, and other digital tools Create a supportive classroom culture that promotes creative risk-taking, collaboration, and problem-solving Evaluate student work through regular project assessments and provide constructive, actionable feedback Organize online exhibitions, portfolio showcases, and social media projects to highlight student achievements Maintain a well-organized digital studio, ensuring all equipment (computers, tablets, software licenses) is safe and accessible Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary and school-wide digital art initiatives Stay current with emerging digital tools, software updates, and industry trends through ongoing professional development Qualifications Demonstrated experience teaching digital art in an educational or similar setting Expert-level proficiency in major digital art software, including Adobe Creative Suite, Procreate, Blender, Maya, Cinema 4D, and Figma Strong skills across multiple digital media: graphic design, digital illustration, 3D modeling, animation, and video editing Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels Ability to design inclusive lesson plans that accommodate various learning styles and needs Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Digital Art, Graphic Design, Multimedia, or a related field preferred Genuine passion for nurturing creativity and encouraging contemporary self-expression in students Technical troubleshooting skills and adaptability to learn new digital tools quickly Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage digital learning environments effectively Benefits Health insurance Life insurance Retirement plan If you are a dedicated educator eager to make a meaningful impact through digital art, we would love to hear from you.
