The ideal candidate must have experience both teaching art and working with individuals on the autism spectrum or with other unique learning needs. Limited training and on-site supervision is provided. Art materials and supplies are covered by Little Dot. Compensation includes class preparation and monthly notes. This is an ongoing contract position with flexible scheduling. Aside from the qualifications listed below, you should have strong interpersonal skills (patient, communicative, and reliable), as well as an ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with company values. ~ Little Dot Arts LLC is a growing education services company providing personalized, one-on-one art lessons for children and teens on the autism spectrum. Our sessions take place in students' homes and are designed to foster self-expression, emotional regulation, and artistic growth in a supportive environment. We currently serve clients ages 5-23 years old. Responsibilities Provide individualized, in-home art lessons to children and teens, accommodating and adapting to each student's unique profile and needs. Design and implement lesson plans that align with Little Dot's values and goals. Communicate effectively with families and supervisors. Maintain session notes and uphold professional standards of care. Participate in ongoing training and supervision as needed. Qualifications Must have experience working with individuals with autism or other neurodivergent populations. Experience teaching art to children or teens. Background in fine arts, art therapy, occupational therapy, special education, ABA, or a related field. Strong interpersonal skills — patient, compassionate, and reliable. Ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with company values. Must have reliable transportation for in-home sessions. Bachelors or Masters degree in relevant fields. Availability (Part-Time) Seeking candidates who are generally available weekdays between 2-6 p.m. and weekends between 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Schedules are based on individual client needs. Lessons can last from 1 to 1.5 hours, but please keep in mind that you'll also need to include travel time when planning your schedule.
