Our studio is open to students of all abilities, and we foster an inclusive environment that encourages experimentation, collaboration, and individual expression—while equipping students with practical skills for today's digital art industry. What You'll Do Teach a range of digital art disciplines, including digital illustration, graphic design, 3D modeling, animation, video editing, and UI/UX design Provide hands-on instruction using industry-standard software and tablets, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Procreate, Blender, and Figma Develop and deliver a curriculum that integrates traditional and digital art Guide students in creating college application portfolios (combining digital and traditional art, including artist statement writing) Evaluate student work through regular project assessments and provide constructive feedback Organize online exhibitions, portfolio showcases, and social media projects Maintain digital studio equipment, including computers, tablets, and software Collaborate with fellow teachers on interdisciplinary lessons and digital art projects Stay current with the latest digital tools and trends through ongoing professional development What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree or higher in Art Education (Master's preferred), or a degree in Digital Art, Graphic Design, Multimedia, or a related field Teaching certification for elementary, middle, and high school art Minimum of 3 years of art teaching experience (digital art teaching experience preferred) Proficiency in major digital art software, including Adobe Creative Suite, Procreate, Blender, Maya, Cinema 4D, and Figma Strong skills across multiple digital media: graphic design, digital illustration, 3D modeling, animation, and video editing Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels Ability to design inclusive lesson plans that accommodate various learning styles Adaptability to quickly learn new digital tools and troubleshoot technical issues Above all, patience and a warm heart in teaching students of all abilities CPR Certification required (First Aid certification preferred)
Compensation & Benefits Pay:
$22 - $27 per hour Full-time / Part-time available, day shift
