POSITION
Art Teacher
•
Long Term Substitute SCHOOL:
New Fairfield Elementary School Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate art instruction aligned with the district's elementary curriculum and applicable standards.
Introduce students to a variety of artistic techniques, media, cultures, and traditions.
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs, abilities, and interests of all students.
Establish a safe, inclusive, and well-managed art classroom that encourages creativity and self-expression.
Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback that supports artistic growth.
Collaborate with classroom teachers and other staff to support interdisciplinary learning and schoolwide activities.
Organize, maintain, and safely manage art materials, equipment, and student artwork.
QUALIFICATIONS
Appropriate Connecticut Art Education Certification (042
•Art, PreK-12)
SALARY:
Daily rate based on education and certification
