Responsibilities Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards that integrate art and STEAM concepts for elementary students Utilize various learning technologies and LMS (Learning Management Systems) to enhance instructional delivery and track student progress Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and provide instructional modifications for students with disabilities or special needs Manage classroom behavior effectively while creating a positive, inclusive environment that encourages student participation and collaboration Assess student performance through formative and summative assessments, analyzing data to inform instruction and support individual growth Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavioral updates, and upcoming projects or assessments Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, lesson planning, and school-wide initiatives to promote best practices in classroom teaching Qualifications Proven classroom experience in elementary school teaching, including classroom management and curriculum implementation Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children from diverse cultural backgrounds and those with special education needs Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, literacy education, math instruction, and behavior management techniques Experience integrating learning technology tools such as LMS platforms into daily instruction Familiarity with educational compliance standards, standardized testing procedures, and instructional modifications for varied learners Excellent communication skills for engaging students, parents, and colleagues in meaningful dialogue about student achievement Background in arts education or teaching music is a plus; experience with library services or private school settings is desirable Ability to adapt lessons based on student learning styles while fostering creativity through arts-based projects and STEM activities Join us as an Art & STEAM Teacher where your enthusiasm fuels young minds!
