Afterschool Enrichment Solutions is seeking dynamic and reliable STEM, Art, Spanish and Chess Instructors to lead after school programs for elementary students in the Skokie, IL 60076 area. We work with schools all over the Chicago area and over 30,000 students nationwide. About the
Role:
Live in the Skokie, IL 60076 ? Be the spark that ignites creativity and knowledge this fall. We are seeking dynamic instructors to lead engaging courses in: Spanish Chess STEAM Art No prior knowledge required for most subjects, since we provide user-friendly lesson plans to guide you through each class. Chess knowledge is required in order to teach chess classes (e.g. piece value, castling, pawn promotion, openings; strategies, etc.). A conversational level of language skill is required for the Spanish class. All curriculum and supplies for our classes are provided. An ideal candidate must be at least 18 years of age with excellent classroom management skills and have an energetic personality. The students are primarily between the ages of 6 and 12, so experience with youth is a plus.Expectations:
Must be at least 18 years of age Must have (or be willing to obtain) VIRTUS certification Must clear a rigorous background check, including fingerprinting clearance Must be available for all dates Must arrive to class 15-minutes prior to start Payments are issued on a monthly basis, following month of service, i.e. October classes are issued in Novenmber, on or before the 21st of the month Must communicate behavioral concerns to scheduling manager Must complete a W-9, this is a contract position All materials needed for class will be available on-site Programs are held at an elementary school, after regular school hours Interested?
