About ZINEniac ZINEniac is a dynamic enrichment organization committed to empowering communities through innovative educational programming. We provide engaging, hands-on experiences in the arts, STEAM, and life enrichment for schools, after-school programs, and community centers. We are expanding and seeking a passionate, energetic Arts & Crafts and STEM Teacher who can inspire creativity while maintaining structure, engagement, and professionalism. What you'll be doing The Arts & Crafts and STEM Teacher will lead structured, interactive sessions that blend creative arts and STEM exploration for children and youth participants. This role requires someone who can command a room, manage group dynamics, and deliver meaningful experiences, not just activities. This is not a passive position. We are looking for someone who brings energy, preparation, and leadership into every session. Responsibilities Follow our curriculum and deliver our engaging Arts & Crafts lessons (painting, mixed media, creative design, themed projects, etc.) Facilitate interactive STEM sessions (exercises, basic instruments, exploration, STEM appreciation, etc.) Maintain classroom management and positive behavior reinforcement Adapt lesson plans based on age group and learning needs Track participation and provide brief session summaries when required Ensure materials are organized, safe, and accounted for Represent ZINEniac professionally at all times Ideal Candidate Experience working with children in a classroom, camp, after-school, or enrichment setting Strong classroom management skills High energy and engaging personality Ability to lead groups confidently Creative thinker who can design themed sessions Reliable, punctual, and communicative Background in art, science, technology, engineering, education, or related field preferred Qualifications Prior teaching or youth leadership experience required Arts and/or STEM experience required Background check required Ability to travel to program sites (if applicable) Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
