Please submit your portfolio (fine art based), resume, and a statement of purpose to apply (to artmuseHRlegal@gmail.com). Current job opening is for group classes on Tu, We, & Th from 3PM to 6PM.
Compensation:
Tu-Thu 3 pm to 6 pm $90~$120 ($45~$60 per class X 2 classes) Each class requires 30 minutes of prep time, therefore arrival time should be 2pm, and stay 15 minutes after end of the final class to clean up.
Qualifications:
Work well with children and have enthusiasm for art education. Fine Arts major or a strong background in Fine Arts. Strong skills in drawing, painting, and experience with crafts and various art forms. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must speak English; Korean/Chinese speaking is a plus. Experience with Children with IDD is a plus. Excellent organizational and managerial skills. Maintain professionalism at all times. Professional and presentable appearance. Maintain a strong sense of responsibility and a desire for personal growth. Driver's license preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
Teach 3rd-5th grade students in group settings (maximum 6 students per group) using provided teaching guides. Provide verbal/written feedback to parents. Student management (attendance, makeup schedules, progress notes, student artwork management, etc.). Classroom management (maintain cleanliness, material organization, display art pieces, etc.). Provide consultations to potential new students.
