Parker Anderson Enrichment is hiring creative, energetic, and dependable Art & Sculpture Instructors to lead hands-on after-school enrichment classes at partner schools throughout New York City and New Jersey . We're looking for artists and educators who can make art exciting and approachable for children while creating a positive, organized classroom environment. What You'll Teach Depending on the program, students may explore: Drawing & painting Sculpture and 3D art Mixed-media projects Creative design Hands-on craft projects Art techniques and artistic expression Curriculum and materials are provided for many of our programs , so you can focus on engaging students and bringing each project to life. Pay & Schedule $50+ per class Higher rates may be available for certain specialized programs Classes are approximately 1 hour Weekday afternoons, generally between 2:30-5:00 PM Very part-time and flexible Most instructors teach 1-5 classes per week , depending on availability Classes typically meet once per week on a consistent day Programs generally run 8-18 weeks Who We're Looking For This opportunity is a great fit for: Artists Art Teachers Teaching Artists Art Students Art Education Students Sculptors Designers Creative Professionals Teachers with a strong art background Ideal candidates: Have experience or a strong interest in art, sculpture, or creative projects Enjoy working with children Are energetic, patient, and engaging Can confidently lead a small group of students Can maintain a fun but structured classroom Are dependable and punctual Can commit to a consistent weekday afternoon schedule Experience working with PreK-6th grade children through teaching, camps, childcare, tutoring, museums, community programs, or other youth activities is strongly preferred. Locations New York City Manhattan Brooklyn New Jersey Hoboken Jersey City Assignments are based on your location, experience, specialty, and weekday availability . Requirements Candidates must have or be willing to obtain the appropriate school fingerprint/background clearance required for their assigned location.
