Specialty and subspecialty, if any, sought Painting Courses to be covered Painting 1 and Painting 2, Drawing 1 and Drawing 2 Position Description The Department of Studio Art seeks applicants for our Painting/Drawing adjunct instructor pool, with the potential to teach 1-3 courses per semester. Contracts are on a semester-by-semester basis and are dependent on enrollment. Candidates must have an MFA with a focus in painting and at least one year of teaching experience outside of graduate school. The ability to teach perceptual oil painting with a focus on still life, landscape, and the figure is required. Candidates must be well-versed in historical and contemporary concepts in painting. Ability to teach introductory-level drawing is preferred. Special Instructions to Applicants Candidates must submit a portfolio of 20 artworks, 20 student works, a reference list, and a cover letter and CV. Is this position Grant funded?
