Location:
This position serves clients throughout Napa County. The role is not limited to Napa (city) only. Day Schedule — sessions are generally scheduled between 8:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Services are provided one-to-one on a weekly schedule, generally between 8:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Days and session length are based on each client's needs, and hours can vary. Availability across the week helps us match you with clients. At Inspired Living, we believe in more than just support—we believe in empowerment. We're looking for compassionate, reliable, and motivated individuals who want to make a real difference. As an Independent Living Instructor, you'll work one-on-one with clients in their homes and communities—helping them master essential life skills like personal care, health maintenance, social engagement, money management, and more.What You'll Do:
- Build strong, respectful relationships with clients
- Teach everyday life skills with patience, care, and cultural sensitivity
- Support clients with appointments, social events, errands, and community access — including providing transportation when needed
- Champion independence, empowerment, and self-advocacy
- Keep clear, timely records and collaborate with a supportive team
- Be part of a mission that truly matters
What You Bring:
- A heart for service and a passion for helping others grow
- At least 6 months of experience in human services or supporting people with disabilities
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Fluency in English or Spanish (bilingual preferred)
- High school diploma or
GED Must Haves:
- Valid CA driver's license, reliable & insured vehicle, and clean driving record
- Willingness to drive clients to medical appointments, social outings, and other essential activities
- Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification (if not already certified)
- Ability to pass a background check
- Availability for at least three four-hour blocks per week, on at least three separate days, between 8:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
- Ability to travel up to 30 minutes each way to a client's home or community Why Join Us?
