Responsibilities Plan and deliver interactive Chinese language lessons tailored to TK and Kindergarten students, incorporating age-appropriate teaching methods and cultural activities. Manage classroom behavior effectively to ensure a positive learning environment that promotes respect, cooperation, and enthusiasm for learning. Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring their safety at all times through vigilant child supervision and childcare practices. Implement classroom management strategies that support individual learning needs and foster inclusive participation among diverse learners. Prepare educational materials, crafts, and activities that enhance language acquisition and cultural understanding. Follow first aid protocols diligently; administer basic first aid or CPR when necessary to ensure student safety. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school staff to monitor student progress and address behavioral or developmental concerns proactively. Skills Must enjoy working with younger children Proven experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, especially with young learners in preschool or kindergarten environments. Strong classroom management skills combined with behavior management techniques suitable for early childhood education. Knowledge of childhood development principles and effective teaching strategies for young children learning a second language. Experience facilitating youth group activities, outdoor work experience, or camp leadership is a plus. Ability to engage children through creative teaching methods such as theater experience or interactive storytelling. Excellent communication skills for working with students, parents, and team members; Christian counseling or youth development program experience is advantageous.
