Reporting to the Principal, the Permanent Substitute will cover classroom duties that include the implementation of lesson plans and management of student behavior. The ideal candidate will have an unwavering commitment to student achievement through academic and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Instruction and Student Management Implement lesson plans and schedule prepared by absent teacher Maintain Voices' academic and behavioral expectations and classroom routines Oversee student behavior in class and at other times during the school day as requested Create a positive student culture by fostering a productive and enthusiastic learning environment for all students Collect student work Communicate with the teacher about student performance in the teachers absence Work effectively with other teachers staff to minimize any potential transitional problems from the teacher to substitute and substitute teacher Fulfill additional responsibilities, as assigned by the supervisor

Operational Management:

Maintain Voices' operational expectations and routines Respond to emergencies per Voices' Safety Plan Ensure that students have access to a productive learning environment by enforcing all campus safety rules and policies Take attendance and manage student dismissal Supervise student transitions between classes Other duties as assigned Requirements /
