Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Spanish Teacher to inspire students in their language learning journey. This role involves designing engaging curricula, fostering a supportive classroom environment, and promoting cultural awareness. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm for teaching, strong communication skills, and a commitment to student success. As a Spanish Teacher, you will play a vital role in developing students' language proficiency while nurturing their curiosity and confidence. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and learning objectives Utilize innovative teaching methods and learning technology to enhance language acquisition and cultural understanding Assess student progress through standardized testing, quizzes, projects, and informal evaluations Provide constructive feedback to support individual student growth and address diverse learning needs Manage classroom behavior effectively to create an inclusive, respectful, and productive learning environment Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, instructional design, and school-wide initiatives Mentor students in their academic and personal development, fostering a love for the Spanish language and culture Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education, Linguistics, Spanish Language or related field; Master's preferred Proven classroom experience teaching Spanish at the middle or high school level Strong knowledge of curriculum development, AP style, Chicago Manual of Style, and instructional design principles Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage students of varying abilities and backgrounds Experience with classroom management techniques, literacy education, and working with students with special needs or in private school settings Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and assessment tools for language proficiency Demonstrated organizational skills for lesson planning, research, and educational administration Knowledge of learning technology platforms such as digital language labs or online learning management systems Ability to mentor students effectively while maintaining high standards of professionalism Join us in shaping the next generation of bilingual learners!
