Job Description
Teach Spanish literacy, math, and science to middle school students in Spanish language. Develop individual educational plan for each student; develop lesson plans; create active Spanish language learning environment; participate in professional development for dual immersion strategies; maintain student records; work with parents. Physical place of employment is Farnsworth Middle School, 305 N 3700 E, Rigby, ID 83442.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Spanish, or similar or foreign equivalent OR bachelors degree in any field or foreign equivalent and completion of an educator preparation program. All applicants must have an Idaho State Teaching license or eligible to enroll in Idaho alternative route to licensure process; native Spanish speaker or minimum Oral Proficiency Interview (OPI) score of Advanced Mid in Spanish; proven ability to promote and facilitate an active Spanish language learning environment.
