A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a dedicated ESL teacher who thrives in a collaborative, school-based environment. With a start date as soon as possible and commitment through June, you will make a meaningful impact with flexible scheduling—choose between five half days per week or three full days to fit your lifestyle, totaling 15 hours weekly. Your expertise will foster both academic and language growth for students, ensuring they feel empowered in their educational experience.

Qualifications & Experience:

Current Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with ESL endorsement required Experience teaching in K-12 educational settings, ideally as a general education or ESL teacher Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills Passion for cultivating inclusive, supportive learning environments for English language learners

Responsibilities:

Design and implement effective lesson plans tailored to English language learners' needs Deliver engaging instruction that promotes language development and academic achievement Assess student progress regularly and adapt strategies to support individual growth Collaborate with fellow educators and support staff to encourage student success Maintain accurate records and provide constructive feedback to students and families This contract offers flexibility, a chance to build strong educational relationships, and an environment where your insights and creativity will be valued.
