Qualifications and Experience:

Valid Louisiana DOE Certification is required (Temporary Authority to Teach certificates will not be accepted) Previous experience as a General Education Teacher and/or ESL Teacher is highly valued Must successfully complete district-required drug screening and fingerprinting as part of credentialing Flexibility and adaptability to serve a diverse population across TBD schools and age groups Deep commitment to supporting multilanguage learners and delivering differentiated instruction Familiarity with school-based procedures and best practices in educational settings

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging lessons to both general education and ESL students using evidence-based teaching strategies Adapt instruction and materials to meet a range of language proficiency and learning needs Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and assessment per school policies Collaborate with school staff and families to promote student success inside and outside the classroom Participate in ongoing professional learning and contribute to a positive school culture Enjoy a structured Monday through Friday schedule, working 35 hours per week with dedicated time for lunch, aligned with the school's calendar for a healthy work-life balance.
