Spanish Language Arts Intervention Teacher Amherst Pelham Regional School District - 3.0 Amherst, MA Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Teaching Certification Math Literacy education Full Job Description The Amherst Public School District is seeking highly qualified candidates for the position of Intervention Teacher at the Amethyst Brook Elementary School. The Intervention Teacher is a building-based position that supports our school's Spanish/ English Dual Language program, Response to Intervention (RTI) and Child Study Team (CST) processes. The Intervention Teacher will work collaboratively with the Spanish/ English Dual Language program and the Literacy and Math Coaches to ensure that intervention support is tailored to meet the needs of students. This is a full-time and school-year position. To be considered for this position, candidates must be familiar with various math, reading, and writing intervention programs. Valid teaching license from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) required. Bi-lingual, bi-cultural applicants are strongly encouraged to apply. Preferred candidates may also hold an additional license in any of the following areas: Bilingual Education Endorsement, Special Education license, ESL license, SEI Endorsement, or Spanish Foreign Language at the appropriate grade level.
