All instruction will support, and be aligned, with the students' online curriculum and the Common Core State Standards. Job Summary :

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Spanish Teacher to join our educational team. The Spanish Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive curriculum, assessing student progress, and collaborating with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.

Responsibilities:

Essential Duties:

Develop and deliver high-quality Spanish language instruction to students Incorporate cultural activities and resources to enhance language learning and promote an appreciation of Spanish-speaking cultures. Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that meet the curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles. Develop assessments and monitor student performance through various methods, including tests, quizzes, projects, and presentations. Collaborate with colleagues to align curricula and participate in ongoing professional development initiatives. Participate in school activities, meetings, and events to contribute to the overall mission of the institution. Maintain a safe and positive environment for all students Maintain effective communication with students, parents, and school staff Regular and predictable attendance

Physical Demands:

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Education, Spanish, Linguistics, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus. Valid teaching certification/license in Michigan for secondary education with an endorsement in the subject. Proficiency in Spanish and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in planning and assessing educational activities.
