Job Summary As a Crème Enrichment Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, developmentally appropriate enrichment activities that enhance the overall educational experience of young children. This position involves incorporating various educational components, such as language, arts, music, or physical activities, to enrich the learning environment. Your role is vital in fostering creativity, curiosity, and a positive attitude towards learning! As a Creme Enrichment Teacher you will: Provide engaging and interactive Spanish language instruction to children, fostering a love for learning and appreciation for diverse Spanish-speaking cultures. Utilize various teaching methods, including storytelling, songs, games, and hands-on activities, to enhance language acquisition. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of children, supporting both English and Spanish language development. Identify and address the unique learning needs of individual children, providing additional support or challenges as needed. Adapt the curriculum as needed to provide additional support for children with varying levels of experience with the Spanish language. Collaborate with Director of Quality and Education and other teachers to integrate enrichment activities. Assist as needed in daily school operations. Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and cooperation. Implement effective behavior management strategies to ensure a respectful and collaborative atmosphere. Maintain open and effective communication with parents, providing updates on enrichment activities and the child's overall development. Participate in parentteacher conferences to discuss progress and address concerns.

Qualifications:

Experience in early childhood education and strong knowledge of child development and age-appropriate instructional strategies. Creativity, enthusiasm, and a passion for providing a well-rounded educational experience. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

SPANISH Specific:

Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish. Ability to teach the Spanish vocabulary as introduced in the curriculum, while also introducing children to any regional variations or dialects that the teacher is familiar with. Physically able to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors Able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English Our benefits meet you where you are.
