MAKE SCHOOL EASIER FOR KIDS!
We need Spanish, ACT/SAT, High School English, Science and Math teachers for a very rewarding part-time position. You will work one-on-one with students in the areas of reading, writing, study skills, science and/or math. There is no homework to correct, no lessons to plan, no meetings with parents and our students are well-behaved. After a training period to learn our methods, documentation and practices, you will spend all your time
TEACHING.
We are open Monday through Thursday from 10:00 am to 8:30 pm, Saturday from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm and Sunday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Huntington has been helping students succeed in school for almost 50 years, so you can be assured that you will make a difference.
PREPARE STUDENTS FOR THE ACT!
If you want to help motivated students get into the college of their choice, this is the part-time position for you. You will be teaching high school juniors and seniors one-on-one in one or more areas covered by the ACT exam: English, reading, writing, science and math. If you are motivated and enjoy working with kids, we will train you with pay to use our materials, methods and strategies. Our previous students have typically shown dramatic increases in their scores.
REQUIREMENTS
Teacher certification preferred but not required. ACT instructors must have a 4 year college degree and experience working with teenagers. Graduate students, lawyers, engineers, accountants and doctors as well as teachers are encouraged to apply.
