High School Teacher•Spanish Job Summary:
Union Catholic High School in Scotch Plains, NJ, is seeking a full-time High School Spanish Teacher for grades 9-12 to join our dedicated faculty. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to academic excellence, effective classroom management skills, and the ability to create an engaging and supportive learning environment that inspires students to succeed. Responsibilities include, developing level-appropriate instruction, supporting school policies, programs, and administrative procedures, fostering a positive and productive classroom environment, and participating in ongoing professional development in 21st-century skills and educational technology.Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
- Utilize innovative teaching techniques to actively engage students in the learning process
- Manage classroom dynamics effectively to ensure a conducive learning atmosphere
- Provide constructive feedback to students to enhance their academic progress
- Prepare students for standardized testing and assessments
- Incorporate learning technology and educational resources to enrich student learning experiences
- Support students' academic and personal growth through mentorship and guidance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
- Demonstrated experience in curriculum development and lesson planning
