• Part-Time Springfield Genius Academy is seeking a passionate, enthusiastic, and experienced Spanish Enrichment Teacher to provide Spanish language instruction to students ages 4-10 years old .

This is a part-time, once-a-week enrichment position . The ideal candidate will create a positive, engaging, and age-appropriate learning environment while helping students develop an interest and foundational skills in the Spanish language.

September 2026 Available Teaching Times Teaching times will be based on student enrollment and the teacher's availability: 1:30 PM

• 2:30 PM 2:30 PM
• 3:30 PM 3:50 PM
• 5:15 PM — dependent on after-school enrollment 5:20 PM
• 6:30 PM — dependent on after-school enrollment The teacher may be scheduled for one or multiple sessions on the assigned day, depending on enrollment.

Responsibilities Plan and teach engaging, age-appropriate Spanish enrichment lessons. Introduce students to basic Spanish vocabulary, phrases, conversation, songs, games, and cultural activities. Adapt instruction to accommodate different ages and levels of Spanish experience. Create a fun, positive, and supportive classroom environment. Maintain appropriate classroom management and student engagement. Communicate professionally with school administration and staff. Provide a consistent and enjoyable Spanish enrichment experience for students. Qualifications Fluency in Spanish is required. Previous experience teaching or working with children ages 4-10 preferred. Experience teaching a foreign language or enrichment program is a plus. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Reliable, punctual, energetic, and professional. Ability to create engaging lessons appropriate for young learners. A degree or teaching certification in education, Spanish, or a related field is preferred but not required. Compensation Competitive hourly rate based on education, teaching experience, and qualifications.
