  • Spanish Teacher Required Application Type Teacher / Admin Salary/Pay Scale $45,000 Prorated Job Description Position Overview A GCS Teacher serves as an integral member of the Geneseo CSD team, supporting the district's mission to provide a safe, inclusive, and high-quality educational environment.
This position requires commitment to excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement in service of student success. Major Responsibilities Perform duties aligned with district goals, policies, and New York State regulations. Support and promote a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for students, staff, and families. Implement and/or support high-quality instructional practices that actively engage students, foster curiosity and creativity, and develop future-ready skills. Utilize data, feedback, and professional judgment to inform decision-making and improve outcomes. Collaborate effectively with colleagues, administrators, families, and community stakeholders. Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting as required. Demonstrate professionalism, ethical conduct, and confidentiality in all aspects of the role. Other Responsibilities Participate in professional development and training opportunities. Attend meetings, events, and activities as required or assigned. Contribute to school/district initiatives, committees, or improvement efforts. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including students, families, and staff. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or designee.
Additional Information Salary:
Commensurate with experience and in accordance with applicable collective bargaining agreement.
Reports To:
