The Opportunity We're looking for a Qur'an & Arabic Teacher who understands that teaching the Qur'an is not about memorization alone — it's about transformation . This isn't just about letters and pronunciation. It's about helping students connect to the كلام of Allah , understand it, and carry it with them for life. You are not just teaching language. You are unlocking identity, faith, and purpose . What You'll Do 1. Teach Qur'an with Depth and Excellence Guide students in memorization (Hifdh), recitation (Tajweed), and understanding Ensure proper pronunciation and fluency in reading Qur'an Build consistency and discipline in daily Qur'an engagement 2. Bring Arabic to Life Teach Arabic in a way that is engaging, practical, and relevant Help students connect vocabulary to meaning — not just memorization Build confidence in reading, writing, and understanding Arabic 3. Connect Knowledge to the Heart Relate Qur'anic teachings to real-life situations students face Help students see the Qur'an as guidance, not just content Develop love for the Qur'an, not just familiarity with it 4. Build Character Through the Qur'an Model sincerity, humility, and respect Reinforce Islamic values through daily interaction Help students develop discipline, patience, and consistency Who You Are You feel the responsibility of teaching the Qur'an — not just the content You understand that every ayah you teach has the potential to change a life You are passionate about helping students love their deen, not just learn it Qualifications Strong proficiency in Qur'an recitation with Tajweed Background in Arabic language instruction Experience teaching children or youth Ability to manage a classroom while maintaining a calm, focused environment Ijazah or formal Qur'an certification (preferred) Alignment with Islamic values and mission What Makes This Role Different At Wellspring, Qur'an is not a subject. It is the center of everything we do . This role is not about finishing a curriculum. It's about raising students who carry the Qur'an in their hearts, actions, and identity .
